Breast Surgery Procedure
From consultation to aftercare – Your treatment journey
1. Initial Consultation
In a detailed discussion, we address your wishes and medical prerequisites. We explain the various surgical methods and answer all questions.
2. Planning
You will receive all information regarding preparation, possible preliminary examinations, and an individual surgical plan.
3. Day of Surgery
The breast operation takes place under general anesthesia and lasts between one and three hours, depending on the scope.
4. Aftercare
The first check-up takes place the day after the operation. Further appointments follow after one week, four weeks, and three months.

Frequently Asked Questions
After two weeks you can resume light activities. Sports should be paused for six weeks. The final result is visible after about six months.
Newer implants do not have a fixed lifespan. Many patients wear their implants for a lifetime. Regular check-ups are recommended.
For office work, usually after 7–10 days. For physically demanding jobs, we recommend a break of 3–4 weeks.
For purely aesthetic procedures, usually not. Exception: medically necessary procedures such as breast reductions for severe discomfort.
After the procedure, mild pain may occur, which can be well managed with painkillers. Most patients find the pain tolerable.
