Downtime and healing process

After a breast lift, you should take it easy physically for about 7 to 14 days. Light everyday activities are usually possible again after a few days, but sport and physical exertion should be avoided for around 4 to 6 weeks. It may take a few weeks for the tissue to heal completely.
Slight swelling, feelings of tension or bruising are normal in the first few days and usually subside quickly. By wearing a special support bra and the Stuttgart belt, you support the healing process and the final aesthetic result. Follow-up appointments at the clinic provide specialist medical support throughout the entire process.

The procedure for a breast lift depends on the chosen technique and the individual physical conditions. Whether a pure lift without an implant, a reduction with simultaneous reshaping or a combination with a silicone or Motiva implant - each treatment is carefully planned and individually adapted.

After a detailed consultation and a medical examination, we decide together which method is appropriate and safe. The operation itself is usually performed under general anesthesia. Afterwards, the patient is cared for and closely monitored by our specialist team.

The results of a breast lift are usually permanent, although the breast is still subject to natural ageing processes. Factors such as skin quality, weight fluctuations or pregnancy can influence the long-term result. A stable posture and wearing a well-fitting bra also support the shape retention.
Yes, every breast lift results in surgical scars. Depending on the incision, these can run around the areola, vertically below it or in the crease under the breast. Our specialized surgeons pay attention to scar-saving techniques and precise suturing. As a rule, the scars fade considerably over time and become inconspicuous.
In many cases, the ability to breastfeed is maintained after a breast lift - especially if the mammary gland and the connection to the nipple are not significantly affected. The risk of restrictions is lower for procedures without a reduction or implant. Nevertheless, depending on the technique and individual anatomy, the ability to breastfeed may be reduced. If there is a desire to have children at a later date, this should definitely be discussed during the consultation so that the surgical method can be adapted accordingly.
